Grand Opening Gallery in 2009

The Sacramento Regional Campus held a grand opening to celebrate our new location. Regional campus directors, staff, and faculty were among 180 guests invited.

Visitors arrived to view a gigantic marquee, featuring a University slide show just outside our building in K Street Mall. We could see the public lined up below the library windows, eyes fixed on the presentation.

Inside, volunteers welcomed guests. Hors d’oeuvres were catered, and a short program was presented. USF President, Father Privett, and Sacramento Mayor, Kevin Johnson, were among the distinguished speakers.

The City of Sacramento was truly delighted to have USF as a partner to help rejuvenate the heart of the city. We mesh well, since USF educates hearts and minds.

The Sacramento Campus is now an integral part of the downtown setting. Food and entertainment are close-by, giving students, staff, and faculty the opportunity to frequent local establishments and to attract a diverse student body. We are located at 630 K Street, Suite 200, Sacramento, CA 95814.
